There is a faster way to restart your windows 98 system and its rather easy to do, it can be done without any changes to your system and gets you back into windows 98 faster then normal.

This handy free tip will reboot windows, but not your entire system - you wont be seeing any boot-up logos just right back to windows.

Step One: Restarting windows 98

Press the start button

Select shut down

Then click restart the computer

Hold the shift key and press yes, keep the shift key held until you see a black screen then release you will get a short message saying restarting windows then shortly you will return back to windows.
